Mold II Club meeting this evening

Tonight I popped along to the Mold II meeting to see how they had interpreted the sketch I left with them last month.  I didn't stay very long as I had had one of my "not so good days" today.  But it was nice seeing everyone again.

Here are the photos from their Show & Tell - I must apologise for a bit of a shine on some of them.  Quite a lot of mirri board had been used & the lights overhead were shining on them.  I had turned the flash off on the camera to avoid that.

Once again another lovely set of cards.


For their project this evening they were making a lovely pop up Christmas Tree card with Rita - & she will be taking some photos to send to me - so keep an eye they will probably be put up in the next couple of days.  There is a preview of what it looks like on the Mold II club page.

That will be it for tonight - sleep well & we will talk again tomorrow.  Perhaps I will have some more interesting things to tell you.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
