Club member success again?

Good evening
I didn't get any crafting done after all today, as something else needed my attention.


But during the morning I decided to go onto the Craft Stamper website to see when the latest issue was due out.  It was out yesterday.  Whilst there I had a good browse & ended up on the Web extra section looking at the gallery of Twinchies that had been the subject of one of their monthly swaps.


Then there was a name I recognised - Annette Jones .  So was this the Annette Jones of Mold II club?   I took the liberty of copying the picture in order to insert it here.  Annette is it yours?


It is really beautiful.  Do leave a comment to say if it is yours, Annette & I will keep my fingers crossed til then.

In case you are not aware what a Twinchie is - well it's just like an Inchie (which we have learnt about in one of our meetings) but bigger - it's a 2" square.  Hmm! I feel a Show & Tell coming on.

Oh & I did pick up an issue of Craft Stamper.  Bob & I went out to lunch & he was very good to me & drove me down to W H Smiths at Broughton so I good purchase it.  I am soooooooo spoilt!

That's me for today.  Do you think this wind & rain will ever stop?

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
