CSNW Meeting last night

Hello hello hello
We had a very good evening at CSNW last night & after all the business type things that I had to go through we got on with the Toilet Roll inner tag album.
Because of the amount of time spent on business we didn't get to making any of the tags, but everyone had covered their rolls - so I do hope they will be brought back next month for me to see & especially so that I can photograph them.
We did have a lot of catching up to do as we hadn't met since the November meeting - 3 whole months ago!!!
I have some photos here of the Show & Tell which was using those 2 strips of cream card.  I am not sure how but I haven't got pictures of them all - there was certainly one with a picture of 2 horses - that's not amongst them.  So if you read this blog & your picture is not on the slide show, bring it back in March I will put it up here then.  I also have to apologise to Claire who made the card with the big cream flower in the middle - it's a bit fuzzy I am not sure why.
I am really looking forward to my new glasses - then with a bit of luck no more fuzzy photos.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

 Just to let the CSNW ladies know I have updated the page showing their Show & Tell cards for this month. Due to a problem with WhatsApp I didn't receive Ruth's card - I have now & have updated the post to include her card.

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
