Hi everyone
Wow! I have had a weird day today - not sure where my crafting head was.

After doing the shopping this morning I sat down & worked out how I was going to make my next challenge card.  Found the design, decided on the shape of card, made it.

When I signed in to my other blog & started to write it up I discovered I had made it for the wrong blog so I had to go & find which blog the theme was for - only to discover that it was for a stamping blog & I hadn't done any stamping.  Just a few minutes ago I thought I might enter a "cheat" by just stamping a greeting on it - but that didn't seem right.  So it is now part of my collection awaiting the right birthday occasion & person.  I have detailed the whole process over on my blog - but here is the card for you to see.

An easel card with a difference.  I decided to stick the right hand flap down flat instead of making it another easel.

I am off now to set up the birthday greetings for May & then to see what blog challenges I can enter this week.

The church bells here have been going nearly all day - I think the church has been busy.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
