Hi everyone
Well I haven't been so creative today.  I had a workshop this morning at PBC - another crochet one. Later I had a little running around to do (not on my feet - but round & about the area) & strangely felt quite tired afterwards.

The little bit of crafting I did do - was to sit & cut out items for some of the cards I am preparing to make. So not a completely lost day, but I had hoped to complete some cards.  Hopefully tomorrow.

This morning I decided to email Create & Craft as a recent purchase I had made had not arrived.  They had estimated the delivery at 2 May.  Now they are usually pretty accurate on those dates but I felt it was getting a bit worrying. They always send a reply saying the email has been received & they will get back to you.  Then about 3:30 this afternoon - yep! - you guessed it - a van draws up outside & my parcel arrives.  Another email popped off to C&C straight away.

On my personal blog I reached my 75th posting yesterday - so another goal reached & finally that has started getting used more.

That's me for tonight.  Only just over 3 days to go to the festival!!!!

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
