Hi everyone
No crafting to speak about today I am afraid & not from yesterday either.

Yesterday after the lunch Bob & I attended, I carried on with some more sorting of personal paperwork.  Doesn't it mount up?  They say you should keep it for 7 years - I think I have got it way beyond that.

This sorting continued this morning as well & then we had a phone call from Gareth inviting us out to lunch, which was very nice. Then I had an appointment in Mold which was the rest of the day taken care of.

So I have really just popped in to let you know I am here just nothing to report.  But - you never know about tomorrow - because it is rugby Saturday - so I will probably do some crafting whilst Bob & Gareth are watching the games.

Well! here we are at the last bank holiday of 2011 - I hope you have some nice things to do over the weekend & that the weather is kind to us.  Having said that - the rain & thunder tonight does not bode too well, does it?

Anyway have a great weekend.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
