Hi ladies
Sorry I didn't write yesterday but I have been concentrating on getting some family history research that I have done written up to hand over.

Also I have a fairly busy few days with lots of appointments seeming to come together.  I had to go for a blood test yesterday morning, then today I had an appointment in Mold.  Tomorrow I am meeting Caroline to discuss a project we are doing for the HSNW club in October, plus in the evening it is the CSNW September meeting.  Then on Thursday I am having my hair done in the morning with a visit to the chiropodist in the afternoon, the evening will be sent packing my case for the weekend away in Brussels which starts on Friday morning. Whew I shall need the sit down in Eurostar to recharge batteries.

In the meantime I must try & finish some PBC samples & work on my brothers 65th birthday card


Just thought I would brighten the page with this hydrangea - which if I am correct is called a lace cap - please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.  It was in the gardens at Portmeirion.

So hopefully more craft info tomorrow.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
