Mold II photos - part 1

Good afternoon ladies

Here I am with the first set of photographs for last night Mold II meeting.  They are of the Show & Tell which was a Christmas ATC -

this lovely blue & white one was painted by our in club artist Liz

this lovely blue frosty design is one of three that had a slight difference between them which I didn't
spot - so sorry to Elizabeth who made them

Oooh what a happy little snowman




the second photo above shows this ATC group closed which when opened surprises us with
a 2012 calendar.  Great idea.

Very delicate mono-chrome tag shaped ATC

I can never remember if this style is art-deco or art nouveau
very stylish

Aaah! isn't that lovely.  That stamp is really cute & looks great on this ATC

A chilly looking glittering penguin - love his hat

if you sit very quiet you can almost here them singing


Hello! it's that happy snowman again.  Fancy two people choosing to use him.
he looks really good on this easel ATC

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
