Good evening ladies

Well! I did my exercise this morning - managed two 10 minute spells on the treadmill, & 5 minutes on the "Harley Davidson".  Didn't get to have a go on the swingy walky thing as there are only 2 & they were both in use for some time. 

I also didn't have a swim as I had to sort myself out for going to Hulme Hall for the set up of the festival. Most of the retailers turned up OK despite a rather nasty accident on the M6 - most had left home early I think & got to us before the accident happened.

The hall was busy & really buzzing when I left just after 4pm.  I tried looking at what was on offer but it's a little tricky because I don't like to get in the way of them setting up.

I understand the Glitter Girls were on C&C this morning with a block buster so that is probably why they are not at our festival this time.

So that was my day - looking forward to tomorrow - will keep an eye for you all.  Don't spend too much.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
