2012 Project - Mold II - Carol

Well, here I am back again with the second set of photos for the 2012 Project.  This time it is Carol & her chosen stamp is a beautiful lady.

Here are her cards;


Isn't she beautiful?  This design is so lovely & really sets the image off.


Again clean & simple design & a great use of a doily edging to frame her.


A little more drama with this one framing it in holographic silver & backed with the embossed card.
Just beautiful.........


...... and elegance again.  This time with a gold frame on an easel style card.

I so often use the term clean & simple when describing cards & I hope everyone understands what I mean by that.  It in no way implies the card is simple but more that it is clean & uncluttered. 

A bit later I will be back with the photos from the meeting - unfortunately once again my camera batteries ran out & I took the remainder of the photos on my mobile phone.  So I need to email them to myself in order to use them.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
