Mold photos - part 1

Time to show you the photos from the Mold meeting last night.  This set is of their Show & Tell for the evening - an ATC with a paper pieced design.


Oops! Sorry I seem to have managed once gain to take one of the photos out of focus.
This delightful little bird cage hung from a little group of jump rings.


A delicate sparkly flower on this one.


A beautiful urn - this is a really fantastic image.
It's one of those images you look at & think ....... "if I use just that part..."


I love this fantasy flower & the different shades of green papers to make it are great


Isn't this absolutely gorgeous?  All that small cutting out to piece the butterfly & flowers.


Now! I wonder how many of the Mold ladies remember this stamp. I haven't seen it in ages.
We used it once as a challenge to see how many different cards could be made from this one stamp.
The stamp could be used multiple times.  The results were so good I sent the photos to Craft Stamper & they did a multi-page spread on us.
I think I might take a trip down memory lane & show the photos here, one day soon.


A delightful little fairy.  When you look closer, or for a second time, at a photo is when you spot things you hadn't seen before.  I had noticed the colour of the fairies face, arms & legs but hadn't noticed the printing on them.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
