Good evening all

Things here are still going along in much the way they have for a couple of weeks now - sorting & more sorting.  So not anything of real interest to share with you

As I cannot at the moment do a great deal in my craft room due to it being totally upside down in order to pack things sensibly the only crafting I can do when I want to relax for a while is my digital work.

The other morning - whilst taking a little break from it all, having a cup of tea, I decided to have a quick play.  I worked on a couple more wedding photos which I will be able to show you a bit later on - especially when they are in an album.  But I did work on a page of photos of flowers.  As you know I love taking flower photos - so I looked through the flower folder & found there were rather a lot of pink ones.

So those were the ones I chose.  Now that I have created it I may need to do some more pages showing the other colours.  Here it is.


The only thing I haven't done is write on there what they are photos of - pink flowers obviously - but why.  It wasn't exactly a quick play but it didn't take forever.  The cup of tea?  Not very nice - I forgot all about it & it went cold. There you go.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
