Thank goodness for ....

... mobile phones.

Sorry I didn't pop in & write anything last night after the Mold meeting - I was actually a little tired. It was the first meeting of the year & of course as is usual for me - I had been to the first of my monthly lunches.  So obviously after the Christmas & New Year break I am out of condition & also my memory didn't seem to be working, as I forgot to take my camera with me last night.  Hence the heading - which should of course be extended to say - ....... with cameras included.

So, I have lots of photos for you - their Show & Tell, along with their project & also 3 ladies brought in their 2014 project round robin book.  They put them out on show & then left them with me so that I photograph them more carefully here at home.  There will not be a shortage of photos for the blog for sometime now, especially when the rest of them bring their 2014 project in next month, & those for the other clubs as well.

I will be out for a while later today with Bob, but will start to sort the photos on my phone ready to upload to the computer & then post here.

Thta is me for now - hopefully back later.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
