Good afternoon everyone.


I am just popping in quickly for two reasons.


The first reason is to copy here a comment from Sylvia the new lady who started with us at MoldII on Tuesday evening.  I thought if I just published it at the post she had commented on you might not see it. Here it is -


"Many thanks to all who made me so welcome at the Mold club last Tuesday night.  I've obviously got a long way to go to be at your standards but look forward to the challenge. Looking forward to the next meeting & talking to you all again (& maybe this time remembering your names!!)"


Sylvia - you are very welcome.


The second reason is to say sorry for not writing a post yesterday but my computer decided to crash o me again. Bob has been busy today creating everything on it on another computer.  So this post is on my new computer.  It is a newer verso of the one I had plus I am on Windows10 - so there will be some learning curves. 


I haven't done any crafting today, but have made a start on tidying my craft room before starting on my Christmas cards.  So no time wasted.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

 Just to let the CSNW ladies know I have updated the page showing their Show & Tell cards for this month. Due to a problem with WhatsApp I didn't receive Ruth's card - I have now & have updated the post to include her card.

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
