Mold photos - part 2

Good afternoon ladies, I am back again with more photos.

This time they are of the Mold June project where Joan showed the ladies how to make a "Cylinder card".  The name becomes more obvious when you see the cards;

The outside

The inside
This is the first of the 2 sample cards that Joan brought in for the ladies to see

outside

inside

This is the second of Joan's sample cards.
I think the cylinder part of the card shows up clearer in this photo than the first one.
The card folds flat for posting, but when you open it a little mechanism curls the inner sheet into a cylinder feature.  Very clever.

I seem to have the front of Clare's card but not the inside.

The same has happened for Yvonne's card.
If you have your cards still perhaps you could bring them back to next club night so that I can photograph the insides, please.

Maureen's card has a lovely oriental style & you can see very clearly the cylinder.

Mair's card has those ladies who dine - or is it wine??
A pretty scene inside on the cylinder.

Janet has a very floral theme which is repeated on the cylinder inner. Very delicate too.

Rhiannon also has a floral theme - love that dramatic blue flower which is echoed inside with the embossed cylinder.

Joanna has reduced the size of her cylinder to make a vase with a lovely full bouquet of flowers inside.  I don't have a photo of the outside so perhaps she hadn't finished it.
Can we see it next month, please?

Thank you to Joan for showing us how to make this card & sorting a template for the inner part. This was her first time of showing the ladies something & you can see from the results that she did well.

I hope you are pleased with the results Joan.

That's me for today.  'Bye for now.
