Just over a week ago I had an email from Joanna of Mold club - with the subject line -- "I won a prize"

This is what she put in the email;

"I haven't said that for a while have I?

Actually, I won twice on the same blog hop just by leaving comments on all the wonderful eye-candy and my name was drawn two times.

I am attaching the photos I took earlier, the stamps are red-rubber and mounted on cling but they're impossible to read so I'm only sending piccies of the front of the packs. Two stamps, a butterfly stencil and a couple of word dies from my all-time favourite calligrapher, Suzanne Cannon of Quietfire Designs."






So ladies as I often say - if you like surfing the Internet for stamping (or any craft) looking for blogs, then, if they are running a prize event where all you have to do is say something nice on the blog.  Do it - you never know what you might win.  If you don't try then someone else will win ...... might even be Joanna again.  😁

Another weekend is here - they really do fly by - have a lovely one.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
