Hi everyone
Just popping in for a quick chat so that you don't think I have forgotten you all.

I have been busy the last couple of days making family anniversary cards & birthday cards, & sometimes I get lost in what I am doing & the day just disappears.  So, yesterday I didn't leave myself time to blog.

Tomorrow is the July meeting of Mold club & so on Friday I will have some photos of their work to show you - but only the Show & Tell, as the project won't be shown until after next Tuesday when Mold II have done the project as well.

This afternoon I created the elements for another double slider card as a step by step example for Mold club  - this means I will probably have to do the same when I show it to the other clubs.

I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather & fingers crossed we don't get the storms tonight that the weather man said might come our way.  Those poor people in Cornwall who suffered again with flooding - our hearts go out to them.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
