Mold II photos - part 3

Good morning!

I am here today with another set of photos from the Mold II evening held last Tuesday.  These photos are of the second project they made which was shown to them by Annette. 

The project is a card that Annette used in a show & tell card some time ago & the ladies had asked her to show them all how to make it --- the Teepee card.

These are absolutely delightful cards;

As you can see Elizabethe's daughter Jo accompanied her to the meeting & this is her card with a lovely cluster of balloons.  A child would just love this.

Great cards ladies & a big thank you to Annette for showing this project.  I must mention that they all fold flat for posting.

Once again another thank you to Carolyn as well, for taking all the photos.

Well later I am off for a "ladies who lunch" get together.  Once a month Bob has a business group lunch that he attends & I found out a short while back that the wives of some of the men attending get together for a lunch of their own.  So, I have just started joining them - this will be my second time.

More tomorrow - I have received some extra photos from Rita.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
