Mold photos - part 2

Good morning all I hope you all had a good weekend?

This morning I have the second set of photos from last Thursdays Mold night & they are of their project cards.  Well - to be precise some of their cards.  A couple weren't finished & hopefully will be brought back next time.

The project was to make a card with a box frame topper.

Here is the sample I made a few months ago ......................

................. once again using my seemingly endless supply of Hunydory papers & card.

Here are the ladies cards;

Janet
I love the fact that Janet placed the box frame topper at a jaunty angle.
It totally suits the arty images.

Joan
Pretty in pink for Joan
Well done Joan because despite difficulty with your fingers - you completed the card.

Joanna
I just love this design the inked image in the topper matches so well the background papers.

Rhiannon
A pretty lilac offering from Rhiannon with the frame topper placed lower on the card.
It works really well.

Sheelagh
A nice bright & colourful design from Sheelagh.

A long time ago when I first started running workshops I had a lady who when it came time to put her card together chose pink & orange.  When I looked at the on her work surface I almost went over & said "I don't think they will work together".  But then I told myself it wasn't my card - so don't say anything.

When the card was finished it looked fantastic - as does Sheelagh's card above.

So that day I learnt a very important lesson - just because I don't think it will work, doesn't mean it won't.  So since then I have always kept my thoughts to myself.  Unless asked of course.

That is all from me today.  Have a good day.
'Bye for now.

  1. I didn't get a chance to see all the work that night that's why it's so good to look at them on here - some fab pieces of art produced!
