As tonight would have been their April meeting night I thought it a good day to show them. The theme was shades of blue & white; Agnes Two cards from Agnes The first one is welcoming their new Granddaughter, & then to the extreme a 100th birthday card!! Annette lovely image & verse Carol Great for a man's card! Carolyn Carolyn's card is made from Navy card, die cut white daisies edged with weathered wood ink & some white pearls. Good afternoon everyone - I have a couple of photos this afternoon from Rita of Mold II group. The photos are of visitors she has had to her garden.  She is rather busy with her house & garden (& she sent a photo of the work in the garden but it was blurry so I cannot include it). But here are the ones of "her visitors"; Rita said that she hadn't seen one of these for some time. Managing to get a photo through the kitchen window. Lovely visitors that make regular visits. Thank you Rita. That's it for today folks. 'Bye for now.

What have you been doing ......

............ to while away the time. Today I have photos from Dot of Mold II group showing what she has been doing. She has been making doll's clothes; Here is what Dot said in her email; "I've not had a chance to do much in my craft room as I'm still sewing scrub bags  f or the NHS nurses. So far I've made 83 bags!   I'm having next week off from sewing as I need to clean the house  up as it's been neglected of late.  I have made a few little doll clothes too for my 7yr old granddaughter  in the hope that it will detract her from playing on her tablet (see attached).   As I don't see her too often I will pop these in the post and get her mum to video her  reactions for me when she opens her parcel.  I just wish I could deliver them in person.   Hopefully this lockdown will end soon and we can all get our lives back. I'm so looking forward to seeing all the craft group ladies once again and learning

Good afternoon everyone, today I have another member showcase which is from Rita of Mold II group & it leads on from my post yesterday about Tom Moore. Rita has made a card for his 100th birthday which is next Thursday; In her email with the photo Rita also gave me the address to send any cards to - so I am putting it her in case anyone else would like to recognise his achievementboth in age & the great thing he is doing for the NHS. Captain Tom Moore  c/o Post Office Ltd 67 Bedford Road  Marston  Moretaine  MK43 0LA Earlier today it was announced that the money he has raised is now over £25 million.   That's me for today.  There are more member showcases to come. 'Bye for now.

twenty two million & still going .....

I spotted this on Face Book  this morning; What a man! Bless him. Then as I was sorting this out to post, Bob told me that some in the House of Lords have demanded £323 daily payment for virtual attendance. The above should be emailed to all of them the greedy lot.  I really should have put this little rant on another post - but it just shows the differences in people. I give up. 'Bye for now

What have you been doing ....

Image
..... to while away the time. Well actually that should have read ... "What have I been doing....." It is amazing the things I have found that were part finished/started. Stamped images not used.  Then when I started using them - the embellishments I realised I had got.  Some boxes on my shelves have been opened over the last weeks for the first time in possibly a couple of years.  Certainly many months. Here is some of my work; An image I found in a box, now mounted on black card & twine added. Plus a background stamp that goes so well, that I had never used. Some Christmas napkins, that I bought at least a year ago, along with quite a few other designs. Now - they look like this ....... Christmas card 1 Christmas card 2 I actually made a set of 6. Now what shall I do tomorrow? Hope you are all safe & well. 'Bye for now.

Good morning everyone Today I have the photos from the last meeting that the CSNW ladies were able to meet for - March. Because I had an idea I wouldn't be able to make the meeting myself I sent a package of card, papers, embellishments & a sketch to Grace, to take to the meeting. Here is what the ladies made;  This was the sketch  Ruth's card Claire's card Joan's card Kate's card Elvena's card Gwen's card Great cards ladies. As most of the ladies didn't know that I might not be there they obviously had all the materials for the card we were  going to make - so I suspect some of the items got used on these cards. A big thank you to Elvena for taking the photos & for sending them to me, especially under these trying circumstances. Just a call out to the CSNW ladies - I have only received 3 lots of the April Show & Tell card - so I hope that some of you have still to send me
