beautiful poppies
Good afternoon everyone & a nice day it is as well. Today I have another recently made birthday card to show you; I know poppies are not around at this time of year - but this is a stamp I bought late last year & just had to use it. I stamped it in black ink & coloured it with Promarkers, then stamped the central poppy head again & cut it out & placed it over the base image on sticky pads. Before putting the raised flower head onto the base image I die-cut it with a labels die, then a slightly larger size in black card. This was all layered & placed on the red scalloped edge card. To complete I stamped happy birthday in black under the image. I already have another one to show you - so my mojo seems to have come back - will show you that one in a couple of days. Tomorrow I have the first of the Mold projects to show you, as I have just finished uploading the photos to my laptop. I hope you have all had a good weekend. ...
