A birthday card
Good morning everyone I hope your weekend is going well. Today I have the photos of a recent 50th birthday card I made; I covered a white square card with this pretty yellow & lilac striped paper. I rather liked the little lilac sprays on it. I then stamped & embossed in gold the flowers, then cut them out. I coloured them with Promarkers to tone with the paper. I wasn't sure how I was going to deal with putting "50" on the card as I didn't want to use peel-offs. Years ago I bought a set of alpha dies which I haven't used for a while & couldn't remember if the set included numbers as well. It's a great set of dies each letter, & of course there were numbers, are in 2 shapes. One thick & one thin & you are actually meant to layer them on top of each other - which does look really good. But on this card I used only the thin version which I placed across the large flower. I stamped & embossed "Birth...
