................. to while away the time. Good morning ladies. Here I am again with the second of these "what have you been doing" posts.  This time the photos are from Carolyn of Mold II club. A few days ago Carolyn did a face-time craft class with a friend.  Normally they get together every couple of weeks, but of course unable to do that at the moment.  Carolyn sent her friend sheets of paper which her friend then prepped & they sat & made 5 cards together. These photo are of the ones Carolyn made; Card 01 Card 02 Card 03 side view Card 04 side view Card 05 Beautiful cards & of course Carolyn said that these will pop up on club nights in the future & also the workshops she does at Daleside. Thank you for sending the photos in. 'Bye for now.

Firstly - at the end of my last post - I made an error when said  I had a member showcase to show you - but in fact I had already written a post on that. Anyway, good news - I have had another one come in. This time it is from Carolyn of Mold II club.  She sent me a photo of a card she had made using the start easel style card we learnt recently,  as her base. Here it is; Carolyn has done away with the triangle cut offs that are normally on the card & added this adapted square topper. It is brilliant Carolyn - & has given me some ideas.  All I need now is the mojo to get on & use it. Thank you for sending it in Carolyn - I love it. I have another member showcase to show you so I am going to do another post after this one.  I do like, where possible, to keep each member showcase post to individual posts. Back soon. 'Bye.

Birthday Greetings

A very different member showase

Popped back in after publishing to make a little change - especially in the post title. Yesterday I had an email from Carolyn of Mold II club - here is what she said; Hi Gloria, I thought you'd like to see this. We helped Rosemary make some samples at the retreat this last weekend and this is one of my cards, shown during the 11am show! Regards Carolyn  The Rosemary that Carolyn refers to is Rosemary Merry of Crab Apple Crafts  (which sadly is closing on 6 August). I have never inserted a video before on the blog - so fingers crossed it works. Yes it worked.  To watch it -  Click on the video box arrow head.  Then click on the bottom right corner to open it to full screen size.  Remember to turn up your volume then you will hear Carolyn's name mentioned. Well done Carolyn - that is certainly a different member showcase. 'Bye for now.

Good morning everyone - I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I have a photo for you of something that Carolyn of Mold II club has won merely by leaving a comment on a blog post - this time at Hope & Chances blog - her prize!  Some Spellbinder dies; Wow! they are pretty impressive. So, like I have often said - have a look at these craft blogs & if there is something to win - have a go. Nine times out ten it is merely a case of leaving a comment as in Carolyn's win.  Go on have a go & when you win - send me a photo. That's me for now - possibly more later. 'Bye.

Good afternoon & I am here with another member showcase, which this time is from Carolyn of Mold II club, & I owe Carolyn an apology as she sent these to me on 9 December. It was whilst sorting my emails & in box the other day that I noticed not only I hadn't shown you these cards but I hadn't acknowledged receipt of Carolyn's email.  So here I am to put things right. The next line has been amended - due to an error on my part (12/01/2015) These lovely cards were made at a workshop at Clip Art Fairy (I will put the link HERE  & also HERE for their blog) Aren't they gorgeous?  Carolyn has now been to a couple of these workshops & has shown me some beautiful cards - in fact I think I did blog some last year.  I really must look at attending one myself - it's good for ideas & motivation & I always find after the Christmas rush my mojo decides to go on holiday for a while. Thank you for sending these in Carolyn ...

Good afternoon everyone. Today I have some photos of cards made by a club member - this time it is Carolyn from Mold II club; A lovely stepper card for an anniversary Another lovely pop up box card. How many of these have you made now Carolyn? I am sure Ruby was (or will be) delighted to get this. A lovely accordion card for a wedding - showing the front & the back. As I said to Carolyn in the email - I have a die to make these cards - it really is about time I pulled my socks up & used it. Thank you for sending these Carolyn they are beautiful. Well, that is my post for today - I will save more holiday snaps for another time & I also have my birthday cards to photograph.   Tomorrow afternoon I have an appointment with the ENT specialist - so we will see what he has to say about this throat problem.  There is a slight chance he will look at my throat with a little camera ............... definitely not looking forward ...

Good afternoon Lo! I ask & it happens. Carolyn has sent me photos of a card (sorry! 3 cards) that she has made.  At the Mold II meeting at the end of March Rita brought in a pop-up card that folds flat for the post.  I think I showed a very basic one I had made for a workshop some weeks back.  I am sure all the ladies took a copy of the template away with them. Carolyn says she just loves them & cannot stop making them - Absolutely stunning Carolyn. I will look the template I have & put it on the tutorials page I am sure you will all love making them - they are easy to make.  That is not taking anything away from Carolyn's beautiful cards & work - she says herself how easy they are. I did get to make the card that I spoke of earlier - but will leave you today with Carolyn's cards, & show mine tomorrow.
