..... with a feather when the post lady delivered our post this morning. There was a parcel for Bob - that he was expecting, plus a letter for me, plus a package for me that I wasn't expecting.  I was just off to do some shopping so on the way to Asda I racked my brain to see if I might have ordered something & forgotten about it.  Or was it possible that C&C had duplicated my last order - which I actually received Wednesday?  I had that happen just after Christmas with an order from Crafters Companion.  So, obviously I couldn't wait to get the shopping done. Anyway I opened the package & there appeared to be lots of card inside.  I didn't order card!  As I slid it out of the package a piece of paper slipped out; I had entered a - "you can win" on Simply Cards & Papercraft". Yes! I have won something Look what I have won - it's all Hunkydory material card making kit & pack of gold mirror card some str...

....... with one of my digital creations.  I have today found out that my entry for the 17 November over at CD Sunday challenge was chosen for the top 3 & also chosen as number 1.  I get a little prize.  The theme was Simply Square & this was my entry - Although these images are digital - because they are off CD's I do have to chose, print & then cut them out like hybrid cards.  Someone thought it meant that they were produced flat digitally & then shown.  Although when leaving it to the last minute I have done that just so that i can enter the challenge.  But normally everything is printed off, cut up, added to a card & embellished. I was talking to Joanna of Mold club last week & we were discussing these challenges & how in some of them the winner is chosen by random number generator.  It is nice to have your work chosen but it is nicer when it is actually judged by someone - & that is how they are judged ov...

Last night i was having a flick through various blogs I visit & found on one - Digitally Sweet Challenges - that I had won their sketch challenge from a couple of weeks ago. This was the page I was really thrilled.  I get to pick a kit - or two - from the sponsors list for my prize. I have had a busy-ish day today getting Christmas goodies & cards sorted for the clubs.  I am nearly finished - it is hard to believe that we are reaching the end of our club year - as I always say - where does the time go. Tuesday sees the last meeting of the year for Mold II, then Thursday for Mold (the delayed meeting due to the recent election) & then the following Wednesday sees the last meeting for CSNW.  The first 3 months of your 2013 programme are sorted, the printouts sitting on my dining room table waiting to be cut up & put in the club boxes ready to hand out.  Really quite organised after all. I am hoping to have a card making day tomorrow....

Hi everyone I think I did mention this on one of my posts whilst on holiday. I won with an ATC challenge that I entered with the subject of beach/seaside.  Here is the ATC - you may have seen it before. I found the image on the internet (copyright free images). I rather liked the contrast between seaside - ie sun & summer with the sand snowman - ie winter. I could have missed this win if it hadn't been for Fiona a member of Mold RS club.  She noticed it & emailed me whilst I was on holiday. I do rather like this one - I know I designed it - but there is nothing wrong with liking what you do & feeling quite good about it. I am popping off for a while now & when I come back I will show you some photos of my holiday.  Then tomorrow I will create the slide show of my birthday cards.  I have decided to continue writing the blog & keeping the photo's on my net book, as I don't get so many problems that way. Hi everyone My day today still isn't right - still feel grumpy & can't make my mind up about anything. Still I managed to get the tutorial up & running, although that drove me mad when the computer played up. Then a short while ago I had a really nice surprise - yes, one of my challenge entries has won me a prize - the entry was for the "Alter" challenge over at "Crafts 4 Eternity". If you want to look again it is HERE .  My prize is to choose 3 digi stamps & I found some really nice ones to have. I haven't done any actual crafting today, I am hoping to do some tomorrow.  I spent some time this afternoon looking on the Internet around the area in Brittany where we are going for our holiday to see what I might want to visit. Looks like there are going to be some beautiful village, river & canal scenes for me to photograph. This is the post I thought I might lose when Blogger was out of service & was planned for Thursday evening. Wow! I can't believe it - but I have - I have won again.
