Exercise update

Yes! I did make it today. I have just got home & thought whilst I am cooling down & letting my heart rate settle I would let you know how I got on this morning & then put up the photos from last night's CSNW meeting. It was quite busy there this morning - so I had to use the treadmill first - so I did 20 minutes on there.  next I tried the Harley Davidson & Swingy Walky thing - but only managed 5 minutes on each.l  My knees started feeling the strain.  I expect because I missed a day - because I have found that I can go up & down stairs a little easier now.  So I went back on the treadmill for another 15 minutes. So not too bad really.  Didn't go for a swim - must get back into that. Right off to load the photos.

Exercise update

Yep - you have got to believe it - I am going to let you know all about my exercising, so there. Actually I did quite well today considering that I didn't go all over the weekend or yesterday.  Have only been back home abut 15 minutes - so heart rate beginning to slow down. I managed in total 30 minutes on the Treadmill & get this 5 minutes on the Swingy Walky thing & 10 minutes on the Harley Davidson. My! was I warm when I finished. So if I can manage that again each day this week I will have moved on a bit. Hope to be back later with craft news.  Hope you have a good day despite the weather. I am sure all our thoughts are with the parents of the little Welsh girl who is missing. 'Bye for now.

Hi just got in from this morning's exercise session. I only did the exercise today - no swimming - as I didn't go yesterday & didn't want to overdo it. Mind you I forgot to take my water with me & I got home absolutely parched.  So sitting with a cup of tea before starting all the things I have to do. I managed 20 minutes on the treadmill  in 2 lots of 10 minutes     In between the two 10-minute sessions on the treadmill I did 5 minutes on the swingy walky thing.  My knees not so keen on this one - but they will learn.     Don't think I will every look like that again     Then I did 5 minutes on my Harley Davidson cycle machine.  Knees not to keen on that one either but I can manage it better than the one above.  In time I will get there on both these.        I will be back later with the second set of photos from Mold II's meeting last night.  Got to do some sh...

Exercise today

Good morning ladies - though was is good about it I don't know. The road outside the house is flooded & it is running down our side lawn, & there is a build up outside the garage door. We get much more I won't need to go to the gym to swim.  OK so that's a bit of an exaggeration. I have just got in from to days exercise session - I did 2 fifteen minute session on the treadmill, about 5 minutes on the swingy walky thing.  It was rather busy there today so didn't get a chance on the "Harley Davidson".  I then went for a swim - it obviously does not do me any good not to go at the weekends as  I managed 8 lengths which is 4 less than Friday.  As by then I had worked up quite a stem i decided not to go in the sauna today. Going to have a cup of tea now then I have some paperwork to see to, then I will come back & blog the members card from the magazine. keep fit update

Hi ladies Just got in from my fitness session & there was an improvement on my initial workout yesterday. I spent 15 minutes on the treadmill machine & just about 3 minutes on the swingy walky machine (that's the one she told me to build up very slowly), then 10 minutes on the "Harley Davidson" bike.  This was all followed by 12 lengths of the pool.  There was a young man attendant on duty this morning & I asked how long the pool was.  He reckons about 8 - 9 metres.  So today I have done between 96 & 108 metres.  Not bad.  I hope to increase that by a minimum of 2 laps at least each day.  At the moment I will only be going Monday to Friday.  The whole thing was rounded off with 15 minutes in the Sauna & I came home looking like a lobster! That's that - hope to be back later with thins to do with craft.

Phew! I'm out of condition

Hi everyone Not long been in following my first session at the Leisure Club.  I was introduced to the equipment by a very pleasant young lady who didn't make me feel like I was mad at my age to be doing this. Following her advice I then did 10 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the bike - which is a really strange one because you sit on it a bit like on a Harley Davidson motor bike!  Then I had a couple of minutes on another thing that was like a swinging walker - she had advised me to build that one up slower.  After that it was a quick change into swimsuit & 15 minutes in the pool, followed by 10 minutes in the Sauna.  Boy! I came out of there steaming.  I am going to have to build up the swimming slowly as I was surprised at just how weak my lower back is.  But I will get there. See all you Mold ladies tonight.
