Good evening everyone. Well, tonight saw the start of the 2016 club meetings with Mold club, & what an interesting start it was. As I arrived at the centre there did not appear to be any lights on & about 5 or 6 of the ladies were standing around outside.  Calls were put in to the 2 contact numbers on the door - but they both went to answerphone. Eventually Clare had the idea of texting one of the numbers in the hope that the person whose number it was would look at a text even if they had ignored a call.  This worked eventually & we had a call back - as far as they were concerned there was nothing on the books for tonight.  But he very kindly came round & opened up or us & helped us put out the tables & chairs.  He also came back at the end to put everything away & lock up after us. Good evening everyone. Just popping in quickly before taking myself off to bed - to say that we had a great evening this evening at the Mold II meeting & tomorrow I will have some photos for you of their Show & Tell cards & also the 2 projects we did. Hopefully also I will have the photos of my efforts in the Northern Lights techniques - plus I have 2 member showcases to show you as well.  They won't all appear tomorrow but it gives me something to write about over the next few days. In the afternoon I have to go back to the Doctor to find out the results of my "breathing" tests. Should be interesting - will let you know how I got on. More tomorrow.  Sleep well.

Hi everyone I have just popped in quickly to chat about a couple of things. The first is a question really - how many of you who regularly read the blog keep an eye on the comments button at the bottom of each post?  When someone writes a comment & I accept it for the blog it goes against the post that is being commented on (is that obvious?)!  The comments are only ever complimentary to the topic, which in a lot of cases is your own work being shown.  If you don't look at these you are missing out on comments about your work from your colleagues whether from the same club as you or one of the other clubs. The second thing, & I thought I would point out, it is something where I realised part of the problem was down to me myself.  Quite a few of my birthday cards arrived through the post - with my old surname on.  One card came with no surname next to my first name but my old name in brackets by its side - which meant the sender had remembered it had ...

Good afternoon everyone. I was just getting ready to post the photos & chat about last night's Mold II meeting when on my starting screen I noticed that the club blog now has 14 followers which is great.  On looking to see who they were I find that a couple of them are not members of any of the three clubs this is for, one certainly was & another is I believe a friend from a while back. Sorry - no crafting done, no photos got ready for the blog - because .............. I have been out most of the day with Nadine.  We  popped over to Lady Heyes & had a good look in each of the different "huts".  I was very good & spent £3.99 on a stamp in Crab Apple Crafts - but - Nadine did better - she didn't spend anything.  Well! not until we got to M&S later. After I got home - Bob returned from work & decided we would have dinner out.  So by the time we had done that & come back & watched a little TV - here I am at just before 10:00 pm. I will do the Mold II project photos tomorrow - I promise. I also have some members news to write up. So! call back tomorrow.  Night night.

Good evening everyone! Two apologies - sorry I didn't write anything last night & sorry that there are no photos tonight. Yesterday we still had the men fitting the new boiler & fire & to check the central heating they had to put everything on - along with the outside heat which yesterday was really hot - it was just too much.  My lovely - almost craft room - was like an oven & I just couldn't work in here.  I can't reach the windows over my desk so couldn't open them - tomorrow I am going to have to rethink the layout in front of the window. This evening we have had a family BBQ & so I haven't sorted the photos from Thursday evening - sorry sorry.  I will do them in the morning when it will be reasonable cool in this room I promise.  But we have had a really lovely evening with Russ & Nadine & also Gareth with his girlfriend Elayne.  A great family evening.  We had our new BBQ to christen & this one is a gas one. ...
