Good morning everyone. This morning I have another member showcase & it is from another Mold II member - this time Dot. This is a card Dot made for her son who is a keen cyclist. This is what Dot said in her email; "Here is my latest card made for my cycling-mad son's upcoming birthday.   I  cut up a map, one showing Brandon (his name) and the other  showing Stockport where Edgeley is a suburb. I think he will get a kick out of that!   I found a free , cycle-related verse on the internet and a tongue-in-cheek definition of a 'Cyclopath'.   The only bit of stamping are the words Adventure and Strava which I cut out into tiles,  diamond-glazed to make the words pop, and affixed these around the oval.   I was quite pleased with the result and think he will like it." He will be delighted I am sure, Dot. Thank you for sending it in.

Ruth created this with acrylic paints & blowing through a straw to move the paint around. Then stamped the flowers & sentiment in black ink. It's beautiful Ruth. Thank you for sending in the photo.

Good afternoon everyone. I am very sorry I have been rather lax on here lately.  I am trying to use my time crafting & catching up on some projects I have had laying around for a while.  So, I get lost in time & do not remembers what day of the week or what week it is.  So I don't keep track of when I last blogged. When checking this morning it was quite a while ago - the 15th in fact. Anyway I have some member showcases to catch up on - so will put a couple up a day. So do remember to scroll down to make sure you haven't missed anything. The first one is from Rita of Mold II group; A retirement card for someone with a lot of interests. Great card Rita. I will blog another one a little later this afternoon. 'Bye for now.

Good afternoon everyone - isn't it a gorgeous day?  Really very pleasant for my walk today - around my garden. Today I have photos of cards made by Joan of the CSNW ladies group.  They are in the style of the card I showed them at their last actual meeting in March. It is the card with the split front which is kept together by whatever cutout image is placed on.  Joanna showed Mold club how to make it some time ago - but I cannot remember what it is called. They are very beautiful Joan. Also at the February meeting I showed them how to make a little box that holds one Ferrero Chocolate. Joan wasn't at the meeting, but here is one she made later; Thank you for sending the photos Joan & I am sorry it has taken me quite a while putting them here. If anyone has sent me photos of what they have been doing whilst we have not had meetings, & I haven't shown them here, please, please give me a nudge. Keep safe & well everyone. ...

Good afternoon everyone - I have a couple of photos this afternoon from Rita of Mold II group. The photos are of visitors she has had to her garden.  She is rather busy with her house & garden (& she sent a photo of the work in the garden but it was blurry so I cannot include it). But here are the ones of "her visitors"; Rita said that she hadn't seen one of these for some time. Managing to get a photo through the kitchen window. Lovely visitors that make regular visits. Thank you Rita. That's it for today folks. 'Bye for now.

Good morning! I spoke about tidying yesterday & so I thought I aught to do a little myself in my craft room.  Amongst the things that were ready to go out were some magazines I had finished with.  I always have another look through before I throw them away & so that is how I found this card for the member showcase. I cannot remember which magazine or which issue, as soon as I had taken the photo I threw the magazine away. The card featured was one by our Rita of Mold II group. Good to see you are still being featured Rita. As I said in the last post - I don't buy magazines any more - so if you have been featured recently, or get featured in the future - please send me a photo. Back to my tidying - uhmm no - I think I will make some cards. 'Bye for now.

Good morning everyone Today I have the last set of photos from Joanna when she attended a Sweet Poppy Stencils workshop last year; These two images on black card have been created with micro beads. Amazing. This image is created by placing 2 different colours of glitter over wet paste. This snowflake is created with ink over dry paste. They are so beautiful Joanna & I believe you are going back for another workshop this year! That's all from me today ladies. 'Bye for now.

Good afternoon everyone.  I hope you have lots of good things planned for the weekend. This afternoon I am going back to last year & another set of photos of cards made by Joanna of Mold club, when she attended a workshop with Sweet Poppy stencils. The first 2 cards - the pink ones - Joanna made when she was back home. These next 2 cards Joanna made at the workshop. & this panel is one that she took along to a Mold club night & the ladies said they would like to learn that technique; So, I think Joanna along with Janet are working out how to organise this for sometime in the year. There is one more set of photos from Joanna & Janet's workshop so I will probably post those here tomorrow. Have a great weekend. 'Bye for now.
