A very special thought provoking day.
Today is May 8th 2020 the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day It is so sad that so many had to die to give us so much that we just take for granted today. I found this lovely poem - it was actually written for the USA Veterans Day but I think it is also very apt for VE Day, so that is why I am including it here. I guess we thank them by doing the best we can with the lives they gave us.
