Good afternoon everyone. Well, I did get to spend most of yesterday out in the garden which was really nice - but I did suffer a bit in the evening with my back after all the bending.  I managed to get some more plants in & took some carnation cuttings.  It is probably a bit late for that but the plant was so old & woody that I thought I would take some anyway to try & save some of it. Tonight is the May meeting for the Mold club so tomorrow I should have photos of work to show you. Talking of which I was having a browse through recent posts on the blog & was pleased to see just how many include your work rather than mine - but then I also noticed that there are cards I have made that you haven't been shown.  Probably because they were for people & I didn't want to show them before sending or giving them. Here are 2 cards I made back in April - they are using the faux silk technique; I really like this technique & if it hasn't reach...

Some card making

This morning I felt a little creative so had a couple of hours playing in my craft room.  First it was a little search amongst the drawers with the stamps in to see what I fancied using. I made 2 cards with lilac as the main colour & 2 with the yellow as the main colour.  As I was going to put them onto white cards I needed a layer.  After trimming the images I adhered them to...

Oh dear - I have fallen by the wayside already. I think I mentioned that I was going to a lunch today.  Well it was a very nice lunch & we had a speaker who told us all about the Romans & Chester.  Actually not all about - as we had to stop her & ask her to come back another time to finish the story.  I give a couple of ladies lifts to these lunches so by the time I had dropped them at home & got home myself I am afraid play time had passed. I am hoping to do 2 tomorrow. As I have nothing to show you in the way of cards I thought I would show you another of my digital scrapbook pages Back in 2009 Bob & I went over to the National Memorial arboretum in Staffordshire & whilst we were there he laid a memorial cross in memory of friends he had lost during the Falklands War.  I am not sure if he knows I took the picture when he placed the cross - but I felt it needed to be taken.  Now nearly 3 years later I have finally made the p...
