Good afternoon everyone - isn't it a gorgeous day?  Really very pleasant for my walk today - around my garden. Today I have photos of cards made by Joan of the CSNW ladies group.  They are in the style of the card I showed them at their last actual meeting in March. It is the card with the split front which is kept together by whatever cutout image is placed on.  Joanna showed Mold club how to make it some time ago - but I cannot remember what it is called. They are very beautiful Joan. Also at the February meeting I showed them how to make a little box that holds one Ferrero Chocolate. Joan wasn't at the meeting, but here is one she made later; Thank you for sending the photos Joan & I am sorry it has taken me quite a while putting them here. If anyone has sent me photos of what they have been doing whilst we have not had meetings, & I haven't shown them here, please, please give me a nudge. Keep safe & well everyone. ...

CSNW Group Notice

Good afternoon CSNW ladies. On your club page I have put the details of a Show & Tell card you can make so that we stay in touch. I have also sent out a group email about it explaining how you can send me the photo of your work.  I look forward to seeing your cards.  Just send them as you do them & I will collect them together for a blog post as normal. Keep safe & well.

Good afternoon everyone - a slightly grey weekend & blowy, never mind we will all still enjoy it, wont we? This afternoon I have the second set of photos from the CSNW meeting on Wednesday & today they are of their project which was an interesting shaped card going by the name of "Easel style star card". Here are their cards; A little description. The card is made of 2 sections, from one base card, & then the side pieces are crossed over popped into a couple of slits to complete the card. Joan's card is so prettily set off by that little floral bouquet topper Pretty delicate floral pattern & a very stylised greeting as the topper on Grace's card. Another delicate background paper for Ann's card & a bold greeting topper. Gwen has used delicate pink for her card with a greeting topper & a lovely butterfly to set it off. Some pretty floral & a butterfly die-cut decorate Claire's card ...

CSNW CLUB - NOTICE ABOUT MEETING

Hi everyone. A post to let the CSNW ladies know that Joan (one of the members) has come up with a project for Wednesday evening, in light of the fact I am unable to attend.  She will be providing most of the materials BUT please take along bits & pieces & of course your basic kit. The project you were going to be doing with me will now be at the March meeting - save the Show & Tell for then as well. I look forward to receiving the photos. Enjoy the evening.

Message for CSNW ladies

Good morning Just to make sure that you know I will be popping in to your meeting on Wednesday evening. Bob will be with me again - purely because I will during the afternoon have been back to BTW for the results of my MRI. I am not sure how long I will stay - but long enough to show you how to make the U-fold card. See you then.

club pages updates

Hi I have now updated all the club pages.  Some of the information is a little sparse - like materials required, or - to be advised.  These will be updated as I decide on show & tell ideas & also once I have a materials list for a project from members showing the project & indeed my own demos. Photos will appear on the club project photos page as I receive them from members who are demonstrating & when I have made my samples. They will probably appear on the blog the month before they are being shown at meetings. So! as you will see the remainder of the year has been decided.  I am mainly able to do this due to the help I am receiving from Joanna & Janet of Mold club along with Carolyn & Rita of Mold II club. As each year comes & goes it can become difficult to think up things for the meetings - so all the help I get from you the members is very gratefully received. Also I have made a pledge to myself not to buy too many new items - for...

Good afternoon ladies. The photos today are from the CSNW 2015 project & they are of Elvena's tags, & she has taken a different approach - all her tags are the same - but - her book is very cleverly thought out as you will see; Oops! no A? Oops again - must have lost the A!!! Great idea Elvena - a nice pocket for each tag to go in when swapped later. More tomorrow.  Have a great weekend.
