Mold II photo - late arrival

Image
Yesterday I received an email from Dot of Mold II club with a photo of her Show & Tell card for last Tuesdays meeting which she had been unable to attend due to the weather. In her email Dot said;; "Hi Gloria, here's my show and tell card which I'd forgotten to send you. The butterflies  were stamped onto acetate and glittered....these were made by Carolyn several years ago which  she had kindly given to me and went so well with the papers I had chosen.   I stamped out the verse and coloured the butterflies with gel pens, and then inked in the butterfly trails with an ultra fine pen. I really liked this design and will keep it in mind for when I get crafter's block, which I get quite often!  Dot x" Thank you for sending the photo to me Dot. I have some member showcases for you which I will post over the next few days.  They are very handy at the moment seeing as I am not 100% - I don't have to think so much.  That doe...

Good morning ladies The cards that I have photos of today are some finished drapery cards, from Mold clubs March meeting, brought back for me to see. Three cards from Rhiannon showing each of the 3 designs we made Two designs from Janet. I love the way that Janet has layered the drape in the second photo - it really lifts it. Thank you for bringing them in ladies - it is always nice to know that you did finish the cards & to see how they look. Tomorrow I will have the start of the photos from the Mold II April club night. 'Bye for now.

Good afternoon ladies Well, I had a rather nice day out yesterday with Nadine.  First stop was "Craft Range" at Hapton, Nr Burnley (its just off the M65), where I picked up a few bargains for raffle prizes on club nights.  Then on to Boundary Mill where I managed to pick up a few new tops. The downside on the day was the awful weather - the drive both ways was not too pleasant. This afternoon I have photos for you from Joanna from Mold club & they are of her other 2 drapery cards which she finished at home; I love the colours & the embossed panels behind the drapery which really sets them off.  Created like this they would also be suitable to send to a man.  Well I think so.   The designs look almost heraldic / coat of arms style. Thank you for sending them to me Joanna. That's me for today.  'Bye

Mold II photo - late entry

Good afternoon ladies Today I have a late entry photo from Dot of Mold II club & it is of her Twist & Pop-up card that she made at their meeting the other Tuesday.  I showed Dot's card along with all the others but she had not finished the inside or put a greeting on the front. This she has now done & has sent me the photos; That is a lovely card Dot Dot also told me that she is going to finish it with a belly band to hold it closed. A really good idea. Well I have had a good weekend & got all my stamps sorted - & selected those that will go on my new stamp storage unit.  Hopefully I will be able to do that tomorrow .  At the moment there is a hitch in that the shelves for the storage system came with acrylic shelves & on one side they are covered by some white paper (?) with big blue writing on.  The website shows these shelves as clear - but I cannot get this printed cover off.  So I have written to Ali Reeve at Cle...

Good morning ladies - how are you all? I call these coupe of posts "late entry" because they are the photos of members cards that were not completed at the time of the meeting, but they kindly remember to send me a photo when hey are finished. Today's photos are from Sheelagh of Mold club.  As a reminder this is the photo I shared after the meeting; I mentioned that Sheelagh had got so carried away with decorating that she decorated the front of the inner piece.  Son ow we can see how she finished the card; It looks to me as if Sheelagh was able to remove the topper from the front of the insert & place it on the real outer of the card - but of course it may be another topper.  I love all the work on the inside - it's beautiful.  Thank you for sending it in Sheelagh. Right - I am off to make some thank you cards. More from me tomorrow.  'Bye!

Good evening ladies. This evening I have a photo from one of the ladies of Mold club who had not finished her project at the meeting last Thursday, & it is Janet. The project was the twist & pop up card. This is the front of Janet's card with pretty magnolia style blossoms on it......... ................ & this is the inside with more blossoms. In the first photo it looks as if Janet has stamped the base card in white. Thank you for sending it in Janet. I am about to have my dinner & then I am off to the first Mold II club meeting of the year.  So, more photos tomorrow. 'Bye for now.
