Good afternoon everyone. Well - the rain has stopped - for now - but it still very warm, isn't it. This afternoon I have 2 lovely cards to show you - from Joan of Mold club. They are lovely Joan & so fresh looking. I have been going through the photos that I have received from the Mold ladies over the last weeks, & will show a few more over the next few days.  I have fallen behind with showing them. Good afternoon everyone - isn't it a gorgeous day?  Really very pleasant for my walk today - around my garden. Today I have photos of cards made by Joan of the CSNW ladies group.  They are in the style of the card I showed them at their last actual meeting in March. It is the card with the split front which is kept together by whatever cutout image is placed on.  Joanna showed Mold club how to make it some time ago - but I cannot remember what it is called. They are very beautiful Joan. Also at the February meeting I showed them how to make a little box that holds one Ferrero Chocolate. Joan wasn't at the meeting, but here is one she made later; Thank you for sending the photos Joan & I am sorry it has taken me quite a while putting them here. If anyone has sent me photos of what they have been doing whilst we have not had meetings, & I haven't shown them here, please, please give me a nudge. Keep safe & well everyone. ...

Good afternoon everyone. Today I have a member showcase for you & this time it is for Joan of Mold club, who had a letter & card featured in a magazine around November last year - but she had mislaid the magazine in order to show me.  That was rectified last Thursday & here it is for you to see; Well done Joan - that butterfly is very pretty  & the design fills a card beautifully. I am glad you found the magazine & we can finally show it to the other ladies. I will be back later with another member showcase - but have to go & put my box ready for the Mold II club meeting this evening.

Good afternnoon everyone - I hope you had a good weekend. Today I have the first of 2 sets of photos from the CSNW club members 2014 project.  They chose to do a round robin & the one today is that created by & for Joan whose theme was "Going Green" just spotted in time that this page had been turned on it's side. It is always fun to see how one theme is interpreted by others. Well done ladies - I am sure Joan is thrilled with her book.

Here is the second half of Joan's project  O for Octagon card. The pretty inside panel of the Octagon card P is for Parchment & very pretty it is too.  That is a really lovely craft - it is just so time consuming. Q is for Quilling  -  love the trees & candles R is for Ribbon Threading,.  That is a lovely stamp & the ribbon woven through the shoulder part is really pretty & sets it off. S is for Switch stencil.  This is another of those metal stencils that helps you design a card & is great for using up those little pieces of paper we all have.  The circular shape you see here & the sections within it are the shape of the stencil.  It is called a Switch stencil because you can rotate it & get a different look & also you can turn it over - so from one stencil you can get quite a few designs.
