Good evening all I hope you are well. This evening I have the photos of Mold II's Show & Tell cards for this month.  Carolyn set the challenge - which was this sketch; Here are their cards Annette Very delicate colouring & style from Annette. Carolyn Very delicate card from Carolyn with lovely embossed panels. Dot Dot typed up a repeat of 'With Sympathy' in various fonts and cut out two sections.  Then she typed up the words and inserted them into a circle shape on the computer. Nice and simple. Elizabeth Two designs from Elizabeth using this delightful Christmas scene in the panels. Elma A nice Christmas card design from Elma. Helen Helen used mainly ink & stencils with a bit of die-cutting . Madeline The bright blue is kind of plastic fabric and looks fine but on the photo it is patchy,  and Madeline thinks it must be the glue which the camera is picking up Me I loved this sketch & chose delicate pink for the caed. Gave me an opportunity to use these 3 f...

Good morning all. This morning I have photos of the recent Mold club Show & Tell, where Joanna set the challenge - "Embrace the Space".  I wonder how that was interpreted. Ann Two cards from Ann - similar images but different backgrounds.  Definitely using the space. Helen Beautiful dragonflies leaving some natural negative space. Janet A pretty Christmas card with a hint of decoration in the background.  Nice use of negative space Joan Very good use of negative space. Lovely image. Joanna Two cards from Joanna - both using the negative space approach Lynn Wow Lynn was busy - the challenge seems to have inspired  her Christmas card making. Mair A sweet little robin in this negative space design. Maureen Maureen went for the negative look, but then wasn't happy, so.............. ............................... she added a poinsettia.  It did finish the card off Maureen & still left negative space. Me I wasn't sure whether  should leave space or...

A recent make

Edited 24 November. I have just noticed that this post I wrote on Friday did not publish. I must have forgotten to press the right option. Good morning everyone. I can't believe another weekend is here already. Today I have one of my recent makes to show you - a Remembrance Day Wreath which we displayed in our lounge window - as we were unable to go to the service in the village. I really enjoyed making it & have decided I will do a Christmas one.  Just need to make sure I don't leave it until the last minute. Have a good weekend everyone. 'Bye for now.

Farewell to another great entertainer.

This morning the sad news of the passing of Des O'Connor. I guess you have to be of a certain age to appreciate him - but he was one of the few entertainers in those early years that I saw in the theatre.  Great all round entertainer. Rest in Peace, Des

Good morning ladies, how are you all? This morning I have some photos for you of a recent Show & Tell by Mold ladies.  The challenge was set by Janet & was a card from a sketch plus using only the colours black, white, red, yellow & purple. As you will see the sketch is quite geometric which was fine - it was the colour scheme that was the test. Here is the sketch; Ann Two designs from Ann. The first one is really bright & cheerful. Helen Very effective especially with the layered panel. Janet Very you - Janet! Joan Simple but lovely Joanna Love the triangle patterns. Lynn Love this mixed media style. The half butterfly images for where the triangles were - great idea. Mair Love the triangles with their different coloured butterflies. Another great idea. Maureen Two very different ideas from Maureen. Me Two styles from me. This colour scheme really challenged me - but I managed it. On this one took the colours down a little. Rachel Simple & stunning Rhiann...

Member Showcase

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well. Today I have another member showcase for you & this time it is from Madeline of Mold II club. Madeline made this lovely card for a friend who regularly feeds a robin from her hand. The sentiment is from an RSPB papercraft set.  She sent the card because they cannot meet for coffee & a natter due to the lockdown Beautiful thought Madeline.
