Rubber Stamping - North Wales

Good afternoon ladies Firstly let me welcome another new follower of our blog - Glynis, who is also going to join CSNW club along with her friend Gwenda.  I hope you enjoy your visits to the blog & look forward to meeting you at the CSNW club night in May. Ladies of Mold club I hope you have a great evening this evening & look forward to seeing how you get on with the project for the evening. This morning I had a visit from Gareth, to see how I was & if I needed anything.  He stayed for a few hours & we had quite a good natter, then he popped off to the shops & came back for a little longer.  Very nice few hours, thank you Gareth. I thought I was feeling quite a bit better when I got up this morning - but once I started moving around realised how out of breath I still was.  Still it isn't quite as bad as it was - so hopefully on its way out. I haven't started on that anniversary card yet - perhaps tomorrow. That is me for today ladies....

Good evening ladies This post is mainly for the Mold club ladies about their meeting on Thursday (24th). I had an email from Joanna offering her help for the evening which I have accepted.  Strangely we were both thinking along the same lines about what could be done on the evening. So, ladies, you need to bring with you - card, paper, stamps, embellishments, ribbon etc.  You are all going to make a card from a sketch which Joanna is going to print off large size for you all to work from.  You can still do the Show & Tell as normal.  Hopefully photos will be taken & sent to me for blogging later. There are a few of you ladies who do not read the blog, so perhaps you would take some extras with you to share, as they will arrive with just the items for the planned project. Most importantly - have fun. I am going to try & sit & make a card tomorrow.  I have looked in my craft room a couple of times but not had the get up & go....

Hi ladies I am sorry I haven't been in for a couple of days but there hasn't really been anything to talk about. My cough is slowly improving but my chest still has a good rattle going on.  I am now on antibiotics which I managed to get the doctor to give me  -   without even seeing her!!!!!.  I rang the surgery & tried to get a home visit but the receptionist said that she would organise a phone call in the first instance.  I expected the doctor to ring me - but no - it was the receptionist (she had asked the appropriate questions during my earlier call) - saying there would be a prescription for me later in the day.  Sue very kindly popped into my doctors surgery & the chemist & got it for me.  I am not up to going anywhere at the moment as I have no appetite & not eating very much - so of course - no energy. I am hoping that there is only one Rachel Body out there in the big wide rubber stamping world.  If there is more than one - then I hope the one who made this card is our Rachel Body from Mold club. The card is featured in the May issue of Craft Stamper "Over to You" section.  Here is the article that was alongside it & the card that inspired her. Rachel, please let me know if it is your card.  In fact let me know if it isn't as well.  Fingers crossed. Tomorrow my dearly beloved is leaving me for a while - he is off to Malta for a week.  I have always wanted to go to Malta, never mind perhaps another time, & anyway he would be working all day. Hi ladies Yesterday morning I realised that my great-niece's 21st birthday had crept up on me.  It had been in the back of my mind as a job to do when I returned from the wedding.  But, well that is where it stayed.  Fortunately I have a cache of spare cards & found one I had made some time ago using some of my spare stash.  A few minutes on the Sissix Sidekick to get a 21 & I am good to go.  I just hope she got it on time this morning as mail to the Isle of Man sometimes takes a day longer than usual. I hope she likes it. More later.

Good evening ladies I thought I would just pop in for a quick chat whilst I can concentrate. Sadly I had to cancel the CSNW meeting due this evening as there was no way I would be able to get there.  I haven't been out of the house since Thursday.  The thing is too - that this afternoon I remembered that Hayley a new member at CSNW, had offered to show the ladies some beautiful ribbon plaiting.  I should have let the meeting go ahead & you could have learnt that - then you could have shown me next time.  Never mind - I don't always think so fast when not feeling right. Nothing crafty to report today, as I haven't the energy to sit at my desk.  But I did play on my computer for a while this morning doing some digital scrap booking with a couple of the photos from the wedding, & another layout for Russ & Nadine's wedding 2 years ago.  Two Years!  Where does the time go? That's me ladies - just wanted to keep in touch. More tomo...

Ladies of CSNW - I am really very very sorry but I will not be able to make it to club night on Wednesday. Whilst my coughing has eased a bit today, I have no energy & am very unsteady on my feet. I have hardly eaten since Thursday - hence the lack of energy I think. There is no way I would be able to drive & even though I had a plan B to ask Bob to drive me there I am afraid I wouldn't be any good once there. If you read this could you let as many ladies know as possible & I will try & ring around as well.  I will call the centre tomorrow to let Maureen know we won't be there.  It is such a shame especially as we had been able to move it from last week to save you missing a meeting.  We will just shunt the programme down a month. Once again - I really am sorry. We have already booked the alternate date for the July meeting when I will be on holiday - this will now be on July 11 rather than July 4. Take care 'Bye for now
