Rubber Stamping - North Wales

Good afternoon I have a member showcase for you this afternoon & this one is from Rita of Mold II club. A really lovely card - is it a Valentine card Rita?  This one appears in the new issue of Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine Rita also sent a photo of a prize she received recently for entering a competition.  Well done Rita. I will be back a little later with the next Mold 2014 Project photos, after I have got my box ready for the first 2015 meeting of the Mold II club. 'Bye for now.

I decided not to make comments, because every page is beautiful & the subject well interpreted.  well done to everyone who participated in this book - I am sure Maureen is delighted.

Good morning everyone I am just popping in quickly to inform Mold club members of a change to their programme for March. We were having Dawn Phillips from LOTV come & talk to us, but she has been asked to demo at the NEC that week/weekend - so she will be visiting you in April instead. I will have a think over the next couple of days of what to do in March & will update the club page when I have done that.  I will also bring new programme sheets with me to the meeting in February. Good afternoon everyone & a nice day it is as well. Today I have another recently made birthday card to show you; I know poppies are not around at this time of year - but this is a stamp I bought late last year & just had to use it. I stamped it in black ink & coloured it with Promarkers, then stamped the central poppy head again & cut it out & placed it over the base image on sticky pads.  Before putting the raised flower head onto the base image I die-cut it with a labels die, then a slightly larger size in black card.  This was all layered & placed on the red scalloped edge card.  To complete I stamped happy birthday in black under the image. I already have another one to show you - so my mojo seems to have come back - will show you that one in a couple of days.  Tomorrow I have the first of the Mold projects to show you, as I have just finished uploading the photos to my laptop. Hello everyone - isn't it nice to see the sunshine? Helps convince me that it is not as cold as it feels. This afternoon I have a member showcase for you & it is 2 cards made by Betty of Mold II; This one is for Betty's grand-daughter who loves dogs & sparkle.  Lovely card Betty I am sure she will be, or was, thrilled to get it. This card Betty made for a little girl to give to her Nana.  Really sweet. Thank you for sending me these Betty. I will be spending some time tomorrow photographing the 3 Mold 2014 project books I have here & will start showing them to you on Monday.  I hope your weekend is going well. 'Bye for now.

Good evening everyone - well at last the creative juices are beginning to flow, well - trickle. So today I have photos for you of the 40th birthday card I have made; I used a 6x6 square card & embossed a frame around the edge of the front.  I then stamped the flower & leaves image & coloured it in.  To do the colouring I looked out my water colour crayons. These were a present from my friend Veronica some 10, possibly 15 years ago.  Could have been longer. They just go on giving - they are Caron D'ache.  I love the look of watercolour.  I then stamped this rather nice greeting, which I thought for a change I would put on the outside.  The verse & the "happy birthday" are all one stamp.  (I threw the packaging away so can't remember whose stamps they are). On the inside I layered some lilac / purple card after embossing it with the same frame as the front & then added the happy birthday die cut. A nice clean & ...
