Rubber Stamping - North Wales

Good morning everyone. Today I have the photos from the CSNW club meeting held in May when they brought back their background papers April made into cards using them. This is so delicate almost looks like parchment work Love the over-stamping on this one Two lovely cards very different cards from Claire - using 2 of her backgrounds. What lovely stamps that decorate the edges. Another delicate background really setting off the butterflies Love the corner cutting on this one that really sets off the background Wow Grace really went to town - 4 cards. Isn't it amazing how different papers look after you have stamped on them What a great masculine card this would make. I am not going t apologise for the fact that delicate is going to be an over-used word on this cards. Good evening everyone. I am sorry that after all I did not write a post yesterday showing these photos.  But my dear husband had to have a small operation yesterday & we were at the hospital all day.  We had to get to the hospital by 8:00 am which meant a rather early start to the day - which I don't often do now.  So by the time I got him home again I was rather tired. Anyway - here they are today, & they are of the project they took in April when Claire showed them how to make their own background papers used Distress Inks & I believe she introduced them to using glycerine with the inks. The first few photos are of the samples that Claire created the previus month to show them what they would be doing. Good evening everyone. Today I have the first catch up set of photos from this years CSNW meetings to-date. This set is of cards made from a sketch.  I did show a couple of them at the time (March) but thought I would show them all together here today now that I have photos of the remainder. This is the sketch Clare's card was created using the background paper that she would be showing the ladies later. Gwen made two cards with very different looks A great colour combination from Grace with a great banner that says "birthday" Two cards from Ann with the top one showing those backgrounds. Good afternoon - or is it evening - everyone. I can't believe I haven't written anything since last Wednesday. I  was sure I did something over the weekend but it appears to have gone down a big black hole. So whilst I research it I will show you another of my recent cards. This is a straight on view from the front & this is a view slightly from the side to show how the centre panel stands. This card is one of several quick & easy designs I have been looking at.  I thought 2 or 3 quick cards one evening could be quite interesting. There are several styles similar to these, made slightly differently, but I want to look at them again to see if I can overcome that slight lean forwards.   The floral stamps I have had some time & think they might at some time been the free stamp on Craft Stamper magazine.  The little Happy Birthday with it's flowers was part of a sentiments set free on a magazine recently. Hi everyone. I have just popped in for a little chat today.  I have been busy this morning writing up notes of things I want to make & things I would like to show you when I get the chance. I have some cards - quick & simple ones, & one rather amazing card - really interesting.  I hope to make a sample of it over the next few days.  As we already know that Carolyn is showing Mold II the Impossible Card & I will be showing it to CSNW next month & possibly Mold at some time - I must stress this amazing card is not that one.  So 2 amazing cards to see!!!
