Club pages & August meeting
Good evening ladies
I have this evening updated the club pages with the programme up to Septembers meeting.
I am also going to insert here the items required for the August meeting when we have our visiting retailer - Marie. The basic programme outline is on your club pages but this is the more complete list - so I thought I would put it here. Over the coming weeks postings I will refer back to it to ensure everyone sees it. A printed copy was given out at the last meetings.
Here it is;

Items to bring to August meeting;
Please bring your usual basic kit but ensure it includes the following :-
*Permanent ink pads and cleaner eg Staz-on, archival (will only need one or two)
*Inkpads eg Brilliance, chalks (not dye-based), own choice of colours ((as above) altho’ these are better heat set
*1-2 stamps , own choice of theme - large collage stamps are quite useful as you can ‘pick out’ sections, unmounted stamps are also useful for stamping on the slightly curved surface, or a selection of small stamps—remember the area you will be working on is small (45mm x 30mm approx, that’s about 1¾” x 1” and a bit , in old money! )
*Thin bamboo/metal skewer/large bodkin or similar to ensure pre-drilled holes are not blocked (I’m sure if you forget this/don’t have any there’ll be plenty in the room to share)
*Scrap paper for working on

Optional
*Alcohol inks, blender and applicator
*Permanent markers
*Permanent metallic edging pen
*Dimensional adhesive eg Glossy Accents ( altho’ this will take some time to dry!)
*Holeless beads
*Tiny scraps of paper for collage - remember we’re working with a bamboo tile not a big canvas! Remember the mantra - “throw nothing away” , this is where you can use those tiny bits you can’t bear to part with!
*4-6 beads with a hole large enough for 1mm diameter cord (optional)
