Just chatting.....

.... about the Wrexham Papercraft show.

Did you go?  Well, I know of course that quite a few of you did because I "bumped" into you all.

I have to say that I thought it was a very good show - there was a good selection of paper craft items in general & certainly a good choice of rubber stamps & of course all the other things that we like to use.  I discovered some rubber stamping companies I had not come across before & will be searching them out online.

I have 2 special pieces of news for you from the day.

First - I bumped into Carolyn from Mold II & she told me that her name had been pulled from the names of those buying tickets in advance & she had won a token for £50 to be spent at the show.  So congratulations to Carolyn.

As I wandered around I decided to buy a ticket for the raffle, but it wasn't being drawn until 2:30 & unfortunately I was ready to go home before then.  So seeing as, once again I bumped in to someone from one of the clubs, this time Joanna from Mold club - I asked if she was staying & if she was would she mind holding my tickets. Which she did.  I got a telephone call about 2:45 to say that I had won.  I have left the prize with her to collect on club night on 19 June but she has emailed me photos of what I won - can't wait to get them.   

Another email a bit later also from Joanna informed that she had discovered she had won a prize in a blog competition.  So either her luck rubbed off on me - or vice versa. 

What a great day all round.

I have received from photos from Rita of Mold II who has been busy making the pop up box cards,  I will put them here over the weekend - which I guess actually means tomorrow.
