csnw photos - part 2
Good evening ladies
Tonight I have the photos from the CSNW meeting on Wednesday of their project - which was the building blocks card that Joanna of Mold club introduced me to.
Here are their photos & I have photographed the card laid down on the desk & then stood up - so there are two photos per card;

This festive green & red card is from Verena
The actual card was a really good red & green - the photo seems to have altered the shades a little & it looks different in each photo. Nice festive card.
These are two views of the card made by Ruth - with images or something still to be put on the blocks. Love the colour - but then it is one of my favourite colours.
A very delicate shade of lilac & this card was made by Gwen - I think that stamp on the front is a Kaisercraft stamp - it is certainly in their style.
Stamping onto decorative or patterned paper really works well as is shown here.
Lilac - purple - seems to have been the colour of the evening.
This really lovely card was made by Claire I love the framed blocks of colour really adds a lot of interest, & it is nice to see the blocks just delicately decorated.
This card was made by Kate & is a work in progress. I love the shaded paper with the black images very effective.
This is Joan's card - with some great layering of the papers, which works really well on the blocks.
Most of these cards still have some work / images that can be added - but everybody agreed that they really enjoyed making this particular style card & loved the finish.
One tip I would give is - don't use too thick a card. Although it stands well when the card is thicker it can make the cutting out a lot more difficult, & if you don't have a sharp craft knife can prove a little tricky.
That's me for tonight - I am off to bed soon. Have a good night - sleep well.
These are all lovely, such different results from the same technique.
