Did you see .....

.... that sky on Thursday evening?

I watched it changing colour & in the end I had to pop outside & take a photo or two.  It was a really strange yellowy / browny / green colour.  The sort of sky we get sometimes around November to January when snow is on the way!!

I took the photos just before 9:00 pm.

You can see i the corner of the bottom photo that the sun is still setting & given it a pink tinge.

I took them with my little pick up & point camera - I should really have grabbed my new posh camera - although by the time it would have taken me to set it up the sky would have changed I suspect.
