another Christmas card

Good evening ladies.

Today the card I have to show you is one of the set of Christmas cards that I have been making for Bob;


I created a stepper card & covered the bottom panel & side panels with embossed card outlined with silver border peel-offs.  The topper was coloured with red & green Distress Ink & the stamped image & words were heat embossed in silver EP.  I was going to use the Bokeh technique but changed my mind, stopping at just using the inks.

Today I have had a couple of  hours out with Nadine in order to select the ribbon & flowers that will appear on her Mum's 60th birthday card that I am making for her to give.  We decided if we could find some pretty fabric flowers I would use those instead of creating them from paper & card.

A colleague of Bob's is 80 in 10 days time - so I will have to use part of tomorrow making his card. That one is a bit of a challenge - but we will see what happens.

That is my visit for today - more tomorrow.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C
