A recent card
Good afternoon everyone
Once again I must apologise for missing a couple of days here - things have been a little hectic here the last week or so
I said I would talk about my workshop with Honey Doo stamps - but I haven't photographed the cards & project yet - so will do that over the weekend.
What I do have to show you today is a recent birthday card - the one in fact, that I made for Gareth's birthday. We all have the same problem - men are so difficult to make cards for. You only have to look at the ones in the shops - they are either sport, drinking or rude.
Having said that - my card for Gareth is football!!!!

All the parts came from a Hunkydory kit. I found the topper & the extra embellishments, then had to think what base card I could put them on. As I continued to look through my H-d box I found this rather unusual base card. Not sure what set of cards & papers it went with origin ally but the topper looked quite good on it - so that is what I went with.
Tomorrow is the club workshop with Elizabeth Robinson, so I hope to take some photos of the day, along with the items each person makes. These I will write about on Sunday. I am really looking forward to the workshop & also to seeing all of you who are attending. I think you will find you have a great day in store for you.
That is me for this session - more over the weekend.
Have a great weekend whatever you are doing.
'Bye.
