just chatting
Hello everyone I do hope you are having a nice weekend & that you avoided being flooded out in that horrendous downpour yesterday.
I have been spending time in my craft room this last couple of days trying out some new ideas which I hope to bring to the club nights very soon. Ideas that will not tax me when I bring them to you but are still interesting & different to do.
Also I have been a "good girl" in preparing my Show & Tell cards for the June meeting of both the Mold & Mold II clubs. So obviously I cannot show you those yet
I did pick up a couple of useful tips recently which I thought I would pass on to you & am hoping you don't already know them. I hate being late finding out useful things like this;--
** A blending mat. Make from a piece of A4 thin card or even paper & laminate it.
I have 2 of these on my desk & they are much easier to pack in my box for club meetings.
** Do you have a stamp platform?
I do & have worried about the possibility that when you lay a previously used stamp onto another piece of card that I may mark it & spoil what I want to do.
The cure -- cut a piece of acetate the size of the platform & lay it over the clean card.
Place the stamp in the required position, the close the platform lid to pick the stamp up.
Remove the acetate, ink the stamp & continue as normal
Hope they were useful.
That's me for today - 'bye for now.
