a recent card
Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you are all surviving this rather strong wind we have today. I have just been out & it nearly blew me off my feet.
This afternoon I have one of my recent cards to show you. I made it because I am going to show the CSNW ladies how to make it at their next meeting. I will also be able to use it for a birthday card when I need it. It's the really cute - Teepee card;

Rather than a Velcro dot, which I used for a previous version of this card I used a metal floral brad which the front corner just pops under to keep the card closed.
The papers have a greeny-brown shade & the colours of the flower on the front match quite well. I took some white paper flowers, coloured them with a pen to match as close as I could get it & then layered them on top with a toning pearl centre.

Once again a big thank you to Annette of Mold II club who showed us how to make this card some time ago. I find it so useful - it fits any age, male or female, child or adult, season.
That's me for today.
'Bye for now.
Very cute Gloria - I was going to teach myself how to make this and maybe show it in June but I think I'll keep looking for something else now and wait until you show us how to do it ;)
