csnw photos - part1

Good evening everyone.  My! what some weather we are having - Thursday it absolutely poured with rain, Friday was a beautiful sunny day & then at the start of yesterday we had snow!!!!!!!

Ah well, on with the interesting stuff.

Today I have the first set of photos from Wednesday's CSNW club meeting & they are of their Show & Tell cards.

To aid the creation of the card I gave everyone 3 butterfly toppers - from Crafty Individuals- here's a photo of the kind of thing I mean.........................

Ann

Ann gave her card the mixed media touch.

I love the jigsaw pieces for texture & that she cut out one of the butterflies from its piece.

Claire

Claire put her butterflies onto a waterfall design for her card front.

The second photo shows the waterfall open. Lovely card.

Gwen

A new background technique - for Gwen - on her card.

Gwen saw it being demonstrated at the Port Sunlight Stamp Festival.

Then before adding the little photos she over-stamped some grasses.

Joan

As Joan wasn't at the previous meeting & didn't have a set of photos - she looked on the blog & copied one of the photos & printed it out to use.  Quick thinking Joan.

Ruth

The ladies were really taken with Ruth's idea for her card.

Each of the butterfly photos are matted on to little brown carrier bags.

Ruth didn't say but I feel she must have made those as well as they were the perfect size.

Brilliant use of the butterflies ladies.
