Mold photos - part 1

Good morning everyone on a sunny, very blowy Saturday morning & the start of a Bank Holiday weekend.

I hope you are all keeping safe & well.

The photos today are of Mold clubs second Show & Tell session for this month & I suggested getting out the embossing folders & dusting them off & seeing what they could do.

Here are their cards;

Mine
The first one I embossed a couple of different folders onto strips, then cut them into squares. Highlighted some of the pattern
The second one I had seen done years ago & never had a go.
Roses embossing folder then the design water coloured.

Janet
Two cards from Janet - one very masculine & the other more feminine.
I love the background folder for the first one, & the very rustic look,
also the beautiful heart folder for the feminine version with the cut hearts.

Joan
An embossing & die-cut folder combined.
I just love that window & the view through it.
So fresh - you just want to step through it.

Joanna
Several offerings from Joanna with some lovely combinations of folder patterns.
The butterfly is exquisite, the background is from a metal embossing stencil & the smaller panel has been used with Versamark & then embossed.

In the next photo - Joanna has used - double sided sticky sheet over white card,
then gold leaf

These 2 use aluminium foil embossed, the left one has Versamark & gold EP;
the right one dabbed with Versamark & sprinkled with gold, & silver EP.
In all 4 the patterns were highlighted with Stazon.

Lynn
Lynn said she didn't  read the notes properly & did heated embossing rather than dry embossing.
But wow, what some finishes.
Lynn has used a lot of Seth Apter paints & embossing powders.
The powders are effected by the colour over which they have been put.

Mair
A pretty floral theme by Mair.
The decoupaged elements have been cut from the card using the same embossing folder.
Very clever idea.

Rachel
Two very different designs from Rachel.
Love the very romantic feel to the first one.
Then in contrast the fabulous colours in the background of the second one.
Stunning!

Rhiannon
Rhiannon's dreaming of her holiday I think.
Suitcase packed, tickets ready
Brilliant card

Sheelagh
Three cards from Sheelagh.
In the first one the background is 2 folders combined along with the owl which has been covered with Glossy accents to make it stand out.
The bird on the tree one has been cut out & decoupaged, as have the flowers on the third card onto a musical background.

Brilliant cards ladies.

I have been able to write a bit more about some of them as the information came with the photo. A helpful thing to do at the moment, as at normal meeting I make notes as you describe how you make them.

Enjoy the weekend.
More photos to come.
