Mold photos

Good morning everyone I do hope your weekend is going well.

Today I have the Show & Tell photos from Mold club.  This challenge was set by Lynn who - & these are her words - said

"Make a card using stamping BUT NOT using any 'traditional' stamps.
(I mean NO rubber or acrylic stamps).
Have a rummage around your crafty stash - or even your recycling pile -

you can stamp with almost anything! Use paints or inks, or a mixture!
                    Just have a play!"

That is precisely what we all did.  Here are their photos.

 Janet
Janet's flowers are made by cutting the end of straws & fanning them out.
Then dipped in acrylic paint.
Very effective - they look like dandelion heads blowing in the wind.

these are definitely flower heads.

Joan
The first photo shows the items that Joan used to produce her design.

Great design Joan - very modern.

Joanna
First photo - the items that Joanna used
I need to look for where she used that flower mould - I have lots of those.

Joanna said she found this idea very liberating.
It certainly was & I love this piece of artwork.

Lynn
Showing the items Lynn used.

One Background.

Another background, embellished & mounted.
A birthday card in the making.

Mair
Very dainty
For the balloons Mair used the lid of the eye-shaped ink pads, then coloured them in
& for the small circles the lid of a pen.

Mine
I gave my embossing folders an airing & distress ink pads.
The folders did NOT go through the embossing machine
all pressure was added by hand or a gentle use of a brayer.

Loved doing this - will be doing more.

Left hand tag first layer - the folder on the right, above.
Right hand tag second layer added using the folder second from left above.

Same order for these 2 - different folder for the left one.

Two individual ones.

Rhiannon
This shows items used & a page decorated.
Rhiannon said this will be a journal page once embellishments have been added.

Sheelagh
Monochrome using sequins, keys, cotton reels, die-cuts.

This one
Fern & Ivy leaves from garden, foam cut flowers & butterflies.
The stripe is a piece of tree bark dragged down the card.

Great cards ladies
What a variety of items used.

This was fun to do - thank you for the idea Lynn.  We really have been stretching ourselves.  Long may it continue.

That's me for today.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.
'Bye!
