This morning I have the photos from the CSNW ladies, July Show & Tell cards.
I set the challenge which was to make 2 cards (minimum) using the same stamp in different ways. Here are their cards;
Amy (Grace's sister)
Amy has been joining us these last few months, as Gracce always tells her what we are doing.
This is her first card with a simple flower image, but with very effective repeat.
Amy's second card
I love it when designs are cut apart into panels it gives such a different look.
Grace
So nice to send a horizontal DL card for a change.
Love the punched or die-cut images feature.
Grace's second card, using the border element of her stamp.
Included is an image of the complete stamp used.
Gwen
her first card
Again - love the punched (or die-cut) images & the colours used.
Gwen's second card
Again that cut apart, panelled effect, really pretty.
Me
What's this do I hear you say?
Well, its the piece of card I coloured with Distress Inks then die cut my butterflies from.
My first card
and the butterfly is "flying!"
you can just see the acetate mechanism hanging over the layers.
side view.
My second card
An embossed background then the butterfly partially placed on the layers,
with the excess cut away before placing on the base card.
Ruth
Here is Ruth's first card
So delicate & pretty.
The embossed from really sets the stamped image off well.
and her second card.
That looks like a piece of embossed parchment for one of the layers.
Beautifully layered image.
and a photo of the stamp used.
Definitely used in many ways.
Thank you ladies - they are all beautiful.
I will be in touch in the normal way in a few days with your August challenge, should you wish to accept one.
'Bye for now.
