Good afternoon & a nice sunny afternoon it is too.

The photos this time are the ones from the Mold June meeting project which was "Paper Piecing".  In case you are not sure what that is - it is actually quite simple.  You stamp an image on a piece of card for example in black ink, Then you stamp the image the required number of times for your design on different patterned paper.  The pieces stamped on the patterned paper are cut out & glued over the plain image.  Great fun.

Oh she is cute.  Her hat & dress have been paper pieced.  It is possible her boots have too or they may have just been coloured with pens.

A beautiful flower image & there is a lot of work in this with the flowers & the leaves having been paper pieced.

This is amazing as it looks like it has been ultra thick embossed after piecing.

Another lovely image with some very delicate cutting out around the leaves.

That is a really nice layout & very dramatic.  As I haven't seen it in the flesh I am not sure if the backgrounds are inked or are paper.

I had that stamp in the past & never thought of trying paper piecing with it

Here is that cute little character again - it's ideal for this technique.

I actually took some craft items with me on holiday & one of the things I was prepared for was doing some paper piecing.  But that is all that happened - I was prepared.
