Our blackbird
Just popping in with a little tale I thought you might like.
We have a blackbird who regularly visits our garden in fact I think he lives in one of the hedges. I have written about him before when he has spent time having a good feed of our apples that drop off the tree & sits there having a good sup of cider
This week Bob noticed something else he is doing. We are not sure how he worked it out - possibly by accident. We have a bird feeder hanging near one of the apple trees & of course blackbirds cannot get on a feeder so he was losing out to the seed in it. Bob saw him fly off one of the branches & nudge the feeder, then fly down to the ground to feed off the dropped seed. Success!
Well done little blackbird.
Back later with some photos.
